The meeting of the permanent commission for rare and endangered species of plants, animals and mushrooms listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan was held

Among the participants there were the members of the Commission, the staff of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Directorate for the Protection and Use of Wildlife Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Institute of Ecology and Subsurface Resource Management of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Federal University, Volga-Kama State Natural Biosphere Reserve, Lower Kama National Park.

The meeting was devoted to the preparation of the 3rd edition of the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan that will be published in 2016.
