National Autumn Campaign “Live, the Forest!” has started

This spring in the Republic of Tatarstan different planting stock (about 53 thousand pieces) was planted as part of the “Victory Forest” project. During the period of 2010-2015, 875 000 residents of Tatarstan took part in Forest Planting Days; 11.3 million trees were planted on the area of ​​2.5 thousand hectares.

A good tradition will continue this autumn. During this period, in all Russian regions everyone will be able to take part in clearing forests from litter and in activities for planting young trees in forests and parks of the hometown, in landscaping the territories of monuments and memorials, schoolyards, in walkway laying, in collecting seeds and acorns.

We will welcome everyone who takes part and personally assists in cleaning, landscaping and restoration of forests and parks of native land, because this initiative adds chances to preserve the main treasure of mankind – a unique ecosystem of our planet.

The campaign will run until the end of October.
