The Lubyansky Forest Engineering College trains “Young Professionals”

In the Lubyansky Forest Engineering College the teams’ preparing for open regional championship “Young professionals” World Skills Russia of the Republic of Tatarstan on the Landscape competence has started. The championship will take place on February 1-3, 2017 in Kazan. The students of the Lubyansky College have already proved themselves taking the medal places on the working professions championship (WorldSkills Hi-Tech) which was held in April this year at the premises of Kazanskaya Yarmarka. Then 684 participants from 17 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The competitions were held on 56 competencies divided into 6 key units: construction, industry, IT, services, civil transport maintenance, creativity and design. On behalf of Lubyansky Forest Engineering College two teams have participated on the Landscape competence. The teams were trained by Serazetdinova N.M., teacher, and Serazetdinov N.M., the Deputy Director for Housekeeping. The competitors were the teams of Kazan and Moscow Region. When making an assessment, the quality of works performed, productivity, compliance with safety rules and the ability to work in a team were assessed. On the basis of the statement of works the participants were engaged in the conditional establishment of park that included an establishment of flowerbed and its flower decoration, footpath paving, wood flooring arrangement, planting of ornamental trees and shrubs. According to the results of the competition the team of students of Lubyansky Forest Engineering College comprising of Zakirov Ruzil and Mariya Mokhova took the third place, and the team comprising of Alexander Blokhin and Angelina Tolmacheva took the second place.
