Distribution of vaccines for wild carnivore animals is completed in Bolgar forestry

Distribution of Rabivak-O/333 preparation for immunization of wild carnivore animals against rabies has been completed in state forest fund of State Public Institution “Bolgar Forestry” located close to population area of Spasskiy municipal district. The staff members of the veterinary service of “Spasskiy district state association” and State Public Institution “Bolgar Forestry” have participated in the action. Bait was made of products edible for carnivore animals with addition of required quantity of tetracycline-hydrochloride briquette as a palatability marker. Effective vaccination of animals reduces the percentage of animal’s contamination, and consequently – risk of domestic animals infection from wild infected animals.
