An auction to sell the right to conclude a contract for purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses was held in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, according to the schedule. A total of 56 lots were placed from 5 forest districts: Bolgarskiy, Buinskiy, Laishevskiy, Kzyl-Yulduzskiy and Kamskiy.

Employees of the State Public Institution "Tetyushskiy Forest District" together with activists of public organizations and volunteers planted seedlings of the main forest-forming species in the amount of about 1,000 pieces in the Kamsko-Ustinskiy municipal district, near Antonovka village. Planting was conducted on empty lands, with the aim of greening and strengthening the coastal zone of the Volga River. The environmental campaign was actively supported by local residents. The event was attended by both adults and children, to whom the Forest Master of the Klyarinskiy forest district Ilkham Garaev told how to plant trees properly so that they could take root. Planting the seedlings, the children were happy and said: "There will be a forest planted with our hands".

Lesovoz Operation is being conducted in the republic - the state forest inspectors together with the traffic police officers of the Republic of Tatarstan conduct raids on verification of accompanying documents for transportation of timber and sawn timber. With the aim of suppressing violations of forest legislation, employees of eight forest districts: Zainskiy, Aksubaevskiy, Lubyanskiy, Sabinskiy, Almetyevskoiy, Bolgarskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Zelenodolskiy – at once conducted raids on verification of accompanying documents for transportation of timber and sawn timber at mobile and stationary posts of the police stations. 24 vehicles carrying timber and lumber were inspected during the raid. Based on the results of the audit, two offenses of the relevant legislation were identified.

During the current year, 25 facts of violations were identified: transportation of sawn timber and timber without accompanying documents executed in the manner prescribed by the forestry legislation, as well as without registration of purchase and sale transactions in the system of LesEGAIS.

Administrative fine in such cases is from thirty thousand to fifty thousand rubles on officials, for legal entities - from five hundred thousand to seven hundred thousand rubles. And the wood is confiscated. According to the law, vehicles "that are tools for committing an administrative offense" may be also confiscated.

You can check the legality of the purchased timber on the Internet - on the site: rosleshoz.gov.ru, in the system LesEGAIS - a unified information system for wood accounting and transactions with it. Report on illegal tree cutting or other violations at the direct forest guard number - 8 (800) 100-94-00.

Employees of the State Public Institution "Kamskiy Forest District" and the State Budgetary Institution "Kamskiy Forestry Enterprise" brought the forests of Chistopol to a proper sanitary condition. The event was held in the forest fund of Chistopol district forestry. Local residents also took active part in the environmental campaign - 65 people came to clean up the forest territory. Within two hours of campaign, foresters, together with the population, removed solid household waste scattered through the forest on the area of ​​5 hectares. In total, about 30 garbage bags were collected - glass and plastic bottles, plastic bags, rubber tires. "We are glad that the campaign was actively supported by local residents, which means that the Chistopol people have an active civil position, they are not indifferent to the issues of maintaining cleanliness in the forests", forestry officers said. The "Clean forests of Tatarstan" campaign will be held throughout the republic till November 15.

A map, a run and a desire to win. The weekend at the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College was fascinating and interesting. There were competitions on orienteering. Students with the help of map searched for control points in the minimum time in the college territory. The first-year students took an active part in the competition. Thanks to the competitions, the organizers achieved the main goal - they developed orienting skills of students. Thus, first-year students learned a lot of interesting things for themselves, got acquainted with the updated infrastructure of the college. They also developed their physical endurance, because the children had to run a lot. The winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.

On September 19-21 Yekaterinburg hosted the sixth Russian Championship among loggers "Logger-2018". 24 teams from various regions of Russia participated in the competitions. In total - 72 loggers. Also within the framework of the Championship there were competitions among forest machine operators - harvesters and forwarders. Loggers competed in the following disciplines: tree felling, chain replacement, precise cross-cutting, cross-cutting with combined cut, trimming of branches and team relay. Operators of machines: felling of a tree, replacement of chain of a sawing device, cross-cutting of log. The team of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by the loggers of the State Budgetary Institutions “Nurlatskiy Forestry Enterprise” and “Sabinskiy Forestry Enterprise”. According to the results of the competition, the team of the Republic of Tatarstan in the team competition won first place in the fourth consecutive year. Ruslan Nikolaev in the absolute superiority of harvester operators took 1st place. Fidail Adeev among juniors – 1st place. Oleg Alekseev took 1st place in the discipline of "branch cutting”, 3rd place – in "precise cross-cutting", 4th place - in the absolute championship. Nikolay Grishakov- 2nd place in the discipline of "tree felling", 5th place - in the absolute championship. Aleksandr Murtazin took 3rd place in the discipline of "cross-cutting with combined cut".

Today the exhibition center "Kazanskaya Yarmarka" hosts a specialized exhibition and congress "Clean water. Kazan", which brought together scientists, specialists of executive authorities, representatives of environmental organizations and foresters to discuss conservation of the Volga river. In his speech, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Emir Bedertdinov stressed the importance of creating coastal protective belts along the Volga River, the Kama River and their tributaries. At the moment, water protection forest plantations in Tatarstan have a small area. In turn, this year foresters of Tatarstan created such plantations on the area of ​​more than 59 hectares in Arskiy and Vysokogorskiy districts along the rivers. Coastal protective belts are an artificial barrier against the entry into the water of polluting elements, industrial and solid household waste. Also, the Deputy Minister noted the fact that when creating protective plantations it is necessary to strictly observe the breed composition, namely, it is necessary to plant deciduous species and shrubs. The agencies subordinated to the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan are ready to carry out works on creation of water protection plantations in case of appropriate financing and provision of land plots.

"Clean forest begins with me!!!" - under such motto schoolchildren from the Kamsko-Ustinskiy district performed cleaning of the forest area. Cleaning was organized in the Klyarinskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution "Tetyushskiy Forest District". The event was held within the framework of the republican environmental campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan". Pupils of the 8th and 9th grades, along with their curator, a Forest master of the forestry, went to the forest edge to bring it to a proper sanitary condition. The guys together with the class teacher amicably cleared the territory of household waste, took out dry branches, storing them in big heaps. A lot of time was spent on clearing the forest from deadwood. "It is necessary to emphasize that the ongoing measures to clean up the forest fund are primarily aimed at forming in the minds of pupils careful attitude to nature and protection of the environment", said Ilkham Garaev, Forest master of the Klyarinskiy forest district.

On September 19-21, 2018 the VI Russian Championship among wood fellers, harvesters and forwarders operators "Logger-2018" will be held in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region. To participate in the competition, about 30 teams were announced, in addition, juniors from Finland are planning to attend the competitions.

Participants of the VI Russian Championship among loggers "Logger 2018" will compete for the biggest prize fund in the history of the competition at 4.5 million rubles. Within two days loggers will compete in both individual and group competitions.

The team of the Republic of Tatarstan will be represented at the Russian Championship "Logger-2018" by loggers from the Nurlatskiy forestry enterprise and operators of the forest machines of the Sabinskiy forestry enterprise.

The championship will be held at the same time as the week of GRAND EXPO-URAL trade fairs, which will attract an additional professional audience to both events. Within the framework of GRAND EXPO-URAL, the International Specialized Exhibition of Machines, Equipment and Technologies for the Wood and Woodworking Industry LESPROM-URAL Professional, the largest event for the industry professionals in the Ural-Siberian region, will be held.

From September 17 to September 20, the employees of the State Public Institution “Forest District” are receiving upgrading courses on the topic "Regulatory, technical and legal support of works during the coupe demarcation and measurement" in the premises of the State Budgetary Professional Educational Institution "Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College". During the courses the experts get acquainted with changes in regulatory documents, new instruments and tools, and geoinformation technologies used for demarcation and measurement. In the course of practical training, they are taught to perform correctly the coupe demarcation for clear cuttings and improvement cutting. Also representatives of the University of Innopolis attended the lectures. They got acquainted with forestry works in order to improve the geoinformation system developed for the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
