In order to protect the forest, the specialists of the Krasnoborskiy district forestry department of the State Public Institution “Agryzskiy Forest District”, together with the children from the school forestry department "Eco-fighters", cleaned the forest area, which is popularly known as the "Ecological path". This path leading to the shore of the Kama is most often contaminated by local residents and holidaymakers in the Krasny Bor village. For 2 hours of work, the children collected 10 bags of garbage, which was then taken to a landfill. "We would like people not to throw out plastic bottles and plastic bags during a visit to the forest, because this negatively affects the environment. We must take care of nature. Take the garbage with you and throw it away in designated places", - noted the young foresters.
The local forest ranger Ildus Mudarisov once again reminded the children about the rules of fire safety and behavior in the forest. The children from the school forestry take an active part in all campaigns and forestry activities.
Specialists of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan under the State Budgetary Institution "Training and Experimental Sabinskiy Forestry Enterprise" seeded the third rotation seedlings. On the area of 0.5 hectares (the area of two greenhouses), seeds of Scots pine was sown, and in other greenhouses of the same area, a sowing of birch seeds was carried out. In total, there are more than four million seedlings there. "To date, the germination is good. Daily inspection of greenhouses and watering are carried out", said the forest ranger of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the RT, Insaf Sabirzyanov.
Every day, 13 fields of cultivation are inspected, selection of planting material for further planting in protective forest plantations, weeding are also carried out. The annual production capacity of this center is 12 million pieces of standard planting material with a closed root system.

In the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, scheduled auction was held to sell the right to conclude a contract for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses. A total of 83 lots were placed from 3 forest districts: Aksubaevskiy, Almetyevskiy and Kamskiy.
A protocol on the results of the auction is signed with the only participant of the auction, and contracts for the purchase and sale of forest plantations to small and medium-sized businesses will be concluded ten days after the date of publication of information on the results of the auction on the official auction site and no later than twenty days after the day of the auction.
In order to increase knowledge about the benefits of medicinal plants, the Head of the school forestry Firaya Gainanova every summer sets the task for young foresters - to take part in the "Green Pharmacy" campaign. The children collect and dry with interest such plants as strawberry leaves, coltsfoot, willow-tea, tansy, yarrow, hypericum, chamomile flowers, linden, cherry-fruit, etc. "Green Pharmacy" campaign teaches young foresters to distinguish medicinal herbs, collect and store properly, and take care of nature. Medicinal plants are subsequently sold at school fairs and charitable events within the framework of the day of the elderly person. "Summer is in full swing. We are surrounded everywhere by plants: flowers, grasses and shrubs. There would be no life on earth without plants. Plants help us breathe and live. And with their help you can cure some diseases. Just need to know which plants are medicinal and use them correctly. In Arsk school forestry "Heirs of Nature" much attention is paid to the preparation of medicinal raw materials", - said Firaya Gainanova.
Beekeepers Ayrat Gibadullin from the Murza Birlebash village and Rodislav Efimov from the Srednyaya Biyabash village of the Kaibitskiy forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan are harvesting honey. Beeyards are located in the forest near the small lime melliferous areas. "The harvest is normal. Lime blooms. The pumping of honey will begin in a week, when the lime blossoms. Lime honey is considered to be the most high-quality honey", Airat Gibadullin said. According to Rustam Khaffazov, Deputy Forestry Director of the State Public Institution “Kaybitskiy Forest District”, each hive gives 5-7 kilograms of honey. In total in the forestry there are 4 beeyards, established in 4 local forest districts. In summer, the beekeeper cannot miss a single day, not an hour. Currently, work is under way to prepare the apiary for honey, pumping honey, work on the reproduction of bees, and the implementation of medical and recreational activities. Due to weather conditions in the time of flowering linden bee families conduct good collection of lime honey.
Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov participates in the international exhibition INTERFORST-2018. "Interforst" is one of the largest European exhibitions of forestry and forest technologies, which takes place every four years, starting in 1970, in Munich (Germany). During the exhibition events, scientific conferences and special demonstrations of technology are held. This exhibition is a unique platform for dialogue, exchange of experience and establishing close cooperation between experts and representatives of forestry and woodworking industries. More than 400 exhibitors from 27 countries are regularly invited to the exhibition. The Interforst exhibition is held in 2 indoor pavilions and in the open site. The total exhibition area is more than 40,000 m². Forestry machinery and related products of almost all major manufacturers are exhibited.

In the premises of the State Public Institution “Bugulminskiy Forest District”, a republican seminar-meeting was held on the topic "Planting stock growing in the forest-steppe zone, forest reproduction, selective sanitary felling, labor protection". Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, employees of the Ministry staff, heads of subordinated institutions took part in the event. Also, the Head of the Bugulminskiy municipal district Linar Zakirov took part in the event. The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the management of nursery farming in the basic forest nursery of the State Budgetary Institution “Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise”.
In the Petrovskiy district forestry, the birch cultures of 2001, as well as birch trees in the greenhouse were inspected. The senior lecturer of the forestry and forest cultures department of the Kazan State Agrarian University Irek Singatullin spoke about the importance of this tree for the forest-steppe zone. After 2010, in large areas, the birch in Tatarstan was prone to drying out. There was a need to restore birch plantations, including the creation of forest crops. For this purpose, birch seedlings are grown in the greenhouse in the Bugulminskiy forest district. The qualitative planting material grows for 1 year, unlike the seedlings, which are grown in the open ground for two years.
Also, the technology of operation of the Krone PD-08 unit for transplanting large-sized planting material, examined the quarterly withdrawal of logging areas for cutting in 2019 was introduced in Petrovskiy district forestry department.
Familiarization with the work of the school forestry "Green Patrol" of the Yutazinskiy school was conducted in Yutazinskiy district forestry. Guys of 5-7 forms told how they protect the forests of Tatarstan: they plant trees, hand over batteries for utilization, clean forest areas of debris, participate in nature protection competitions.
After inspecting the facilities, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan held a working meeting in which the Head of the Utazinskiy municipal district, Rustem Nuriyev, took part. The preliminary results of forestry operations for the first half of 2018 were summed up at the meeting. At the end of the meeting, the Minister instructed to pay attention to the quality of work in the nurseries and to strengthen control over the fire situation in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan.
