In connection with the medium and high fire hazard in the territory of Tatarstan, state forest inspectors conduct patrolling of forest areas in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests. In particular, in the State Public Institution “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”, the patrolling is carried out jointly with young foresters from the school forestry. Thus, the children learn to take care of nature and the rules of behavior in the forest in a fire-hazardous season. More than 600 forest patrols are conducted by forestry officers in Tatarstan every week. State forest inspectors conduct joint raids with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RT of the district. They inspect forest territories within the framework of the execution of the Cabinet of Ministers Order on limiting the stay of the population in the forest and entry of vehicles into forest areas.

With the purpose of suppressing violations in the sphere of forest legislation in the territory of Tatarstan, employees of the State Public Institution “Agryzskiy Forest District” and “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” jointly with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a raid on the verification of accompanying documents for transportation of timber and sawn timber within the framework of Lesovoz Operation on the local road of the Agryz-Krasnyi Bor direction and the stationary post of road patrol service Tula1. During the raid, 10 vehicles carrying timber were inspected. According to the results of the inspection, there were no violations of the relevant legislation. The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds: the transportation of wood without the accompanying document, which is documented in the order established by the forestry legislation, shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of from thirty to fifty thousand rubles with the confiscation of timber or vehicles being the instrument of committing an administrative offense. For legal entities, the fine will be from five hundred to seven hundred thousand rubles.

On July 16, 2018, the Republican seminar-meeting for forest managers and directors of the forestry enterprises of the subordinated institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held in the premises of SPI “Bugulminskiy Forest District”. Within the framework of the event, the technology of planting material growing at the forest nursery of the State Budgetary Institution “Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise” will be demonstrated. Also a site of forest cultures of a birch and a pine in Petrovskiy district forestry will be inspected. The foresters will be shown the crops in the greenhouse and told about the technology of the Kron PD-0.8 aggregate for transplanting large-sized planting material. Familiarization with the work of school forestry will be held in Yutazinskiy district forestry.

Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov participated in the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to the graduates of the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of the Kazan State Agrarian University. In 2018, students graduated from such fields as "Forestry" and "Landscape Architecture". Acting Rector of KSAU Ayrat Valiev notes that the Forestry and Ecology Faculty works closely with the Ministry of Forestry and this gives positive results. Many graduates, being still students, began to work in the subordinate institutions of the ministry. The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov congratulated the graduates and noted that the ministry is interested in young specialists coming to the forestry, who will have the strengths and opportunities to realize their potential.

The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov met with the entrants of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College. Future students along with their parents came to the Ministry from different regions of Tatarstan. Milana Egorova from Pokrovskoe village of Bavlinskiy district was interested in nature and forest since childhood, she made her choice consciously. "I chose the direction of landscape design, it's for creative people, and decided to go. I think this is a promising direction." Her mother Lyudmila Egorova came to support Milana: "We liked the place – it is very beautiful in Lubyana! Everything is green, beauty. I would like to stay there myself. I am very glad that my child will study in an ecologically clean place. Let the forest flourish!"

Minister Ravil Kuzyurov told the graduates about the state of affairs in the forestry industry, about the Lubyankiy Forestry Engineering College, about the importance of the forestry profession, got acquainted and talked with the guys.

"I consider it is important to emphasize for you that a forestry worker is a profession that will never disappear! Even in the age of development of synthetic and polymeric wood substitutes, the demand for wood does not decrease, it is a clean and environmentally friendly product, and therefore the task of preserving and multiplying forests will always be relevant!", Minister Ravil Kuzyurov noted.

Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, appointed new heads of subordinated institutions. New appointments occurred in three forest districts - Privolzhskiy, Tetyushskiy and Isleitarskiy. Rustem Ismagilov, who previously headed the State Public Institution “Tetyushskiy Forest District” became the Head of the SPI “Privolzhskiy Forest District”. Ranil Rakhmatullin became the Head of the SPI "Tetyushskiy Forest District". Fanis Garifullin, who previously held the position of Deputy Director of the State Budgetary Institution “Isleitarskiy Forestry Enterprise” was appointed as the Head of SPI "Isleitarskiy Forest District". First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov, introduced the team of new leaders and wished them success in their new positions.

Ravil Kuzyurov got acquainted with the state of affairs in the State Public Institution “Leninogorskiy Forest District”. Head of the Leninogorskiy municipal district Ryagat Khusainov also took part in the inspection. The Minister got acquainted with the basic forest nursery in Shugurovsky district forestry and inspected the quality of forest crops in 2018 - common and oak wood. Also the plantings of pine in 2011 were inspected. Ravil Kuzyurov drew the attention of the staff to the quality and timeliness of ongoing work, the need to grow own planting stock, which will replenish the forest fund of Tatarstan.

Also, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan checked the readiness of the fire fighting equipment FCS-3 of the State Budgetary Institution "Forest Fire Center", located in Leninogorsk town, the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the detour, the Minister was informed of the readiness of forces and means in the event of emergencies. After the inspection, Ravil Kuzyurov held a meeting with forest district and forestry enterprise staff, where he once again drew attention to the need to increase control over forests in the summer period.

Today in the water area of ​​the Sviyaga River in Zelenodolskiy District of the Republic of Tatarstan swim race in the open water SVIYAGA SWIM-2018 took place. Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, who heads the Swimming Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the solemn opening of the sporting event.

The swims were conducted at 3.5 and 1.5 km, the distance of which was skirted around the Sviyazhsk island – the monument of architecture and history. In total, more than 200 athletes aged 18 to 75 from 12 regions of Russia took part in open water competitions.

Today, Ravil Kuzyurov made a working trip to Alkeevskiy Forest District. Within the framework of the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the primary forest nursery in the Bazarno-Matakovskiy district forestry, where the main forest-forming species such as spruce, pine and larch are growing. Also, the Minister inspected the uterine plantation of poplar Hybrid-38, which next year will be used for greening of parks and squares of Tatarstan's cities. This type of poplar is highly productive, resistant to diseases, has sanitary-hygienic properties, it releases a lot of oxygen and has no fluff.

Also, Ravil Kuzyurov got acquainted with the areas of cutting and inspected the quality of forest plantations in 2018.

After inspecting the facilities, the Minister held a meeting with forest district and forestry enterprise workers, where the Head of the Alkeevskiy municipal district, Aleksandr Nikoshin, was present. Ravil Kuzyurov raised the main tasks, drew attention to the quality of the works performed, expressed his wishes and comments.

In order to prevent the death of seedlings in the nurseries of the forestry enterprises, work on care for crops, which include regular agrotechnical measures, fertilization, watering, mulching is in process.

In particular, at the nursery of the State Budgetary Institution "Bugulminskiy Forestry Enterprise", due to anomalous heat (+ 33°C and above), daily watering of seedlings is organized, which already brings its results.

"It's a hot summer. And weather conditions cause fear. One of the important tasks of reforestation is to successfully grow our planting material. Therefore, irrigation rates were increased. Particular attention is paid to the crops of the current year," noted Gulnara Mukhametkhanova, Head of the State Public Institution “Bugulminskiy Forest District”.
