Employees of State integrated natural reserve “Baltasinskiy” in cooperation with schoolchildren of Karaduganskiy secondary educational school and Karaduganskiy rural settlement planted seedlings in the area nearby of Karaduvan village. By joint efforts the enthusiasts planted 1000 seedlings of pine-trees. Friendly planting measures were followed by clearing of the territory and water protection areas of the Shoshma river – a nature monument of regional significance.
Within the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public spaces in 2017, as well as within the “Live, Forest!” campaign a “Week of Forest - 2017” was held in State Public Institution “Tetyushskiy forestry”. Events on tree planting were held in the territory of the forestry; clearing of the areas of the forest fund from household wastes and garbage were conducted in the territory of the municipal district. During the campaign 2 hectares of forest fund were cleared of garbage, 5 hectares were littered up, 7.8 thousand pieces of trees were planted in the forest fund in the area of 1.8 hectares and 1.2 thousand pieces of trees were planted in the territory of the district. Most enterprises of the district – kindergartens, schools, territorial self-government etc. took active part in the events.
Last Saturday, within the framework of "A Week of Forest" campaign, 5 thousand coniferous trees were planted and the territory of Russian-German Switzerland was cleared of solid household waste in the Vakhitovsky district of the city of Kazan. Employees of the Ministry and subordinated institutions, the republic's pension fund, students of the Forestry Faculty of Kazan Agrarian University, schoolchildren of school No. 181 of the city of Kazan took part in the campaign.
The Human Rights Defender in the Republic of Tatarstan, Sariya Kharisovna Saburskaya also planted her own tree. "Environmental safety is very important for our population. This campaign, held annually in Tatarstan, allows solving environmental problems and participation of the population in such events - an important component in preserving our ecology", said S.Kh. Saburskaya.
The acting Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Nurtdinovich Bedertdinov, in his speech to the media, noted that this event is the highlight of "A Week of Forest" environmental oriented campaign, during which 1 million young trees were planted in Tatarstan on a total area of 350 hectares, 60 tons of solid waste were scavenged, 300 cubic meters of dead and fallen trees were collected. "Environmental protection actions are aimed at development of a careful attitude to nature, forest, attracting public attention to the problems of conservation, reproduction and augmentation of forest resources. I would like to thank everyone who joined the environmental campaigns - it's more than 30 thousand people of the republic", said E.N. Bedertdinov.
It is also worth noting that the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is holding an environmental action "Clean forests of Tatarstan" since September 15, and it will last until November 15.

Strong, active boys cleared the territory of garbage, household waste, deftly and skillfully sawed and carried out deadwood, gathered in large heaps. A lot of time was spent on clearing the forest from the wind-fallen trees.
Gathering household rubbish, the children were indignant: "After all, very often, coming here with parents to rest and just play football, we see that our forest stores too many waste items that have nothing to do with the forest and nature, this extinguishes the leisure time. And at first we have to remove all this, and only then enjoy the beauties of our area and fresh air", agreed Dubrovin Timur, Evstigneev Daniil, Surkov Ruslan, Nezhdanov Marat in a single opinion.
"It's good that the campaign is taking place now, in the autumn, not only in the spring, and it is becoming widespread and more popular. I know that it is held almost in all cities and villages of the country, - said Rais Shamilevich Halitov, - in fact, it is necessary to clear the forest once more before the beginning of the long winter, so that in the spring the trees blossom faster and do not interfere with dead wood".
"It is necessary to emphasize that the ongoing measures to clean the forest fund from solid household waste are aimed primarily at forming in the minds of my students a careful attitude toward nature and protection of the natural environment," the form teacher summed up.
Our friendly team collected 5 bags of garbage, set down in three large piles of dead wood and wind-fallen trees.
"Clean forest begins with me!!!" – is the opinion of the children. The children are happy that the attitude of the population to nature is changing for the better, and it is the concern of teachers and parents to form a careful attitude towards forests.
Acting Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Emir Bedertdinov, Head of Nizhnekamskiy municipal district, Mayor of Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev, representatives of the administration of Nizhnekamsk, as well as employees of enterprises, organizations and managers of the city's companies took part in tree planting.
The start of the republican project "Green Shield of Tatarstan" was given in the area of the sanitary protection zone of Nizhnekamsk, which passes between the industrial zone and the city. Today, 220 large seedlings with a height of more than 1.5 meters were planted here. These were fir-tree, pine, birch, rowan, ash-tree grown in the nursery of the Nizhnekamsk forestry, and about 1800 seedlings of two-year-old pine brought from the Sabinsky forestry enterprise. Young plantings were planted next to the trees that were planted here 11 years ago in the framework of the municipal project "Green Shield", which was launched in Nizhnekamsk in 2006.
On October 10, 2017 in Leskhoz village of Sabinsky municipal district the summing-up of the results of the IV Republican contest of children's amateur associations "The Breath of the Earth" was conducted.
On this beautiful day, the participants met in the House of Culture of Leskhoz village, where they were treated to pancakes, phyto-tea from a samovar, floral honey and other natural products. Here they could get acquainted with the exhibition of junk material, photos on the topic "Beauty of the native land", as well as with the goods produced in the Sabinsky forestry by the principle of waste-free production.
Then started the solemn part of summing up, where the Head of Sabinskiy municipal district Rais Nurgaleevich Minnikhanov; the Chief Forest Warden of the State Public “Sabinskiy Forestry” Vasil Nurullinovich Gizzatullin; Director of the Republican Center for the Development of Traditional Culture of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanzilya Khakimovna Zavgarova; Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republican Social Movement "Tatarstan - New Age" Alsu Abdrakhmanovna Tarkhanova; the Leading Adviser of the Biodiversity Department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Yusupova Rezilya Ravilevna; Leading Specialist of the Department of Environmental Education and Interaction with Public Organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Gilmizyanova Elena Gennadievna took part. Of course, members of the school forestry of the Leskhoz comprehensive school spoke with welcoming words. The guests got acquainted with the colorful presentations of the laureates of the contest "The Best Amateur Association", which touched on very urgent and relevant topics on protecting, preserving and enhancing the natural resources of our region.
Workshops on the manufacturing of various handicrafts from the waste material did not leave indifferent not only the children and youth, but also aroused great interest among the adult guests of the celebration.
At the end of the solemn part the participants were invited to visit the Forest Museum, the Forest Selection and Seed Center, the dendrological garden named after Nurgali Minnikhanovich Minnikhanov and the souvenir shop. An interesting quest program with specially prepared gifts for the winners was waiting for the children on the territory of the dendrological garden. But no one left empty-handed: each participant was able to take with him the best gift - a seedling grown in the Sabinskiy region, which will please not only them, but the future generation for many years.
Citizens non-indifferent to nature will clear the territory from garbage and plant 5 thousand trees along the Kazanka RiverAn environmental oriented campaign “A Week of Forest – 2017” is picking up pace. Let us recall that the republican campaign started on October 7 and is conducted within the All-Russian campaign “Live, Forest!”. Tomorrow, on October 13, 2017 a planting of water-protective growing stock and clearing the area from household waste will be held in the territory of Russian-German Switzerland (by the Kazanka River, alongside of Arskiy cemetery) in Vakhitovskiy district of the city of Kazan. Employees of the ministries, students and school children will participate there. During the action the foresters will conduct workshops on planting of trees using special tools (Kolesov’s planting iron and Sabinskiy planting iron), which is used in forestry for seedlings planting.
On October 12, 2017 an extended meeting of an Organizing Committee on conducting of the Year of Ecology in the Republic of Tatarstan will be held in Nizhnekamskiy district. It was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of the event the foresters will conduct young trees planting devoted to the environmental oriented campaign “A Week of Forest – 2017”. The planting material will be provided by State Budgetary Institution “Nizhnekamskiy forestry enterprise”. Participants of the campaign will plant more than 4 thousand pieces of trees: fir-tree, rowan, linden, pine, birch. Acting Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Emir Bedertdinov will participate in the event.
Under such a title, annual competitions among the forestry profession members were held in Sabinskiy forestry enterprise.
The competitions were held in several stages. The start of the competition was held in the Leninsky district, where machine operators and servicemen of machine tools of different sectors competed in their professional skills. This year, the first place was taken by the workshop of the Leninsky district.
The competition was continued in the woodworking complex, where the workers of each workshop with great perseverance set to work and showed excellent results.
Attention is also was given to drivers of cars, trucks, drivers for the export of timber, harvester and forwarder operators, tractor operators involved in planting forests on plains and on steep slopes. The corresponding stages were prepared for each type of work.
The final and the largest stage was held in a beautiful place called "Carpathians". Representatives of six district forestry departments, a forest selection and seed center, a fire and chemical station, a woodworking complex, as well as beekeepers and jaegers competed there. In total, 13 kinds of competitions were prepared for the competition of foresters. According to the results of the competitions the first place was won by the command of the Shemordanskiy District Forestry, the second place - Korsinskiy Forestry, the third - Meshebashskiy.
At the end of the competition, Sabantuy was organized, where everyone could compete in traditional games held on a national holiday. Honorary guests of this holiday were veterans of forestry, who devoted their entire lives to the forest.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan R.K. Gumerov, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Forestry Workers of the Republic of Tatarstan I.I. Gimadeev, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee for Investment and Territorial Development - Head of the Investment Development Department I.I. Kutdusov. The guests came to the holiday not empty-handed - they highly appreciated the work of the forest workers and handed them certificates of honor and letters of gratitude.
Logical completion of the Forest Worker Day was the awarding of the winners with certificates of honor and valuable gifts.
Within the campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” inspectors of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a joint raid in Vysokogorskiy district of the republic. An unauthorized household and construction wastes disposal filed was detected in the territory adjacent to the forest fund.
Head of State Control and Supervision Department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Niyaz Tazmeev said that those forests had protective functions – they presented themselves an environmental frame of the city of Kazan, which provided the population with oxygen. The aim – is to ensure proper sanitary condition of this territory. By the way this week in Tatarstan an environmental oriented campaign “A Week of Forest” is conducted. Within the campaign the foresters gathered and scavenged more than 50 tons of solid household wastes from the forest fund.
In the words of the inspector of Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the republic Ruzil Sibgatullin, for violation of environmental regulations one may be faced a fine and requirement to remedy a violation. Such disposal field may result in unpleasant consequences, underlined the specialists. Pollution with rain and melt water may get in ground waters, which may result in damage to trees. It is necessary to liquidate the disposal field immediately.
An environmental oriented campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” will be continued till November 15.
