Day of forest workers – is a holiday for anyone, who devoted his life to reforestation and forest cultivation, care of plantations, forests protection and exploitation. This day is celebrated by specialists and workers of cellulose-paper, woodworking enterprises, as well as anyone who has love and respect toward forests.

This holiday a traditional festive musical and sportive event was conducted in Lubyany forest engineering college. Within the professional holiday “Day of forest workers” celebrations the forest workers – veterans of the industry were presented with memorable gifts, and the employees of the college - with honorary certificates.

This holiday is a yet one ground to recall about obligations of the society to render reasonable assistance in forest protection. And also to congratulate everyone who is engaged in forestry. Happy day of forest workers!!!

The year of 2017 turned out to be rich in significant dates. On September 16, 2017 there will be 20 years from the date of Kichke-Tan state integrated nature reserve formation. Mostly thanks to adoption of regulatory legal act of the Republic of Tatarstan Government it was possible to preserve the natural ecosystem of the Izh River mouth reach, being the place of habitation for the variety of rare animals and vegetation. On the territory (water area) one may regularly meet white-tailed eagle, fish hawk, oyster catcher, also mute swan, water parsnip and many other semi-aquatic species are nesting there.

The state inspectors of the nature reserve perform constant work on restrain of administrative violations. During the period of the nature reserve activity thousands of infringement of Special protected natural areas regulations were reveled and restrained. In the current year the inspectors of the nature reserve completed about 300 administrative protocols.

The administration of Kichke-Tan state nature reserve takes active part in many republican environment-oriented operations and campaigns: “Spawning”, “Forest plantation”, “Primrose”, “Clean forests of Tatarstan”, “Ecological clean-up events”. Thousands of schoolchildren of Agryzskiy district general education institutions participate annually in international environment-oriented campaign “March of Parks” and frequently become the winners of creative contests of the republican level. At schools and pre-school institutions of the district the inspectors conduct variety of events such as “Integrated environmental lesson”, “Lesson of Forest”, “Day of birds”, “Starling house for each starling”, “Let’s feed birds in winter period” and others. During summer holidays an excursion by ecological paths are organized.

At present an active hardworking staff is formed in the nature reserve. Thanks to their work significant results were achieved in the sphere of territory preservation, ecological enlightenment development. For 20 years the collective of the nature reserve has been headed by Akhli Gaskarovich Faizullin – permanent leader, merited ecologist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honorary worker of general education of the Russian Federation, Labor veteran.

The first category specialists Nuriev Talgat Ravilovich and Nurimanova Alfiya Nurgalievna, who have been working by all activities of the nature reserve as planting of trees, bird boxes installation and springs development, are well regarded and respected among the colleagues.

On behalf of the collective of Federal Forestry Agency and in my personal capacity I congratulate you with professional holiday – with a Day of forests workers!

Decision of such tasks as preservation and multiplication of forest wealth is as relevant as never within the Year of ecology. Forests for Russia have been and always will be national wealth, requiring careful attitude and harmonious exploitation.

At present forestry industry and related sectors are intended to solve a lot of questions of vital importance. Forest complex of the country is a key to environmental safety and basis of economic stabilization of Russia.

A labor of forest industry workers may not be revaluated. Foresters – dedicated highly qualified specialists, carrying out full-heartedly professional duties for mankind and nature. Thanks to your diligent day-to-day work, personal involvement, high professionalism and responsible attitude toward duties we can achieve positive improvement in the sphere of forest wealth preservation and multiplication.

At present we have challenging tasks on forestry efficiency improvement. Only by joint efforts we can ensure forests protection and reforestation.

Today the state policy faces an important task – to regain the prestige of forest works. The foresters in particular are defenders and guardians of forests.

With special gratitude I address the veterans of the industry, who kept true to their difficult and at the same time important profession, succeeded in keeping of traditions of several generations of forestry industry workers.

This holiday, please, accept my cordial wishes of strong health, professional success, personal fulfillment, optimism and sense of purpose, prosperity, warmth and happiness!

An ecological conference with participation of the schoolchildren of Baltasinskiy district and inspectors of State integrated nature reserve Baltasinskiy was held in Burbshskiy secondary educational school. All participants were told about the reserve activity. By the end of the event the children acquainted and then were gifted with the third edition of the Republic of Tatarstan Red Book.

The most large-scale race “Nation’s cross country race-2017” to be held on September 16 in the city of Kazan will gather more than 20 thousand participants, among them representatives of various age category and levels of physical condition. A distance for 1 km will be covered in the capital of Tatarstan. Representatives of forestry industry of the republic also will take part in the All-Russian Day of Running.

Twenty years have passed since the formation date of the State integrated nature reserve "Ashit". The main objectives of the administration of the reserve are preservation and restoration of natural complexes and their components, places of water-birds perch sites, habitation of animals and plants entered into the Red Book of the Republic of Tatarstan; regulation of recreational activities on the territory of the Ashit state integrated nature reserve; organization and implementation of environmental education, state environmental inspection.

The activities of the reserve at present day and for the future are focused on preserving nature in its natural state, raising an environmentally conscious rising generation. The inspectors of the reserve regularly patrol the subordinated territory, during which violations of environmental legislation are identified and suppressed.

Thanks to the fruitful work of the inspectors with organizations and with the population in recent years, there has been a steady trend in reducing such violations as littering of the territory of specially protected areas: if in 2012, 14 cases were revealed, then in the last 2 years it was only one fact.

For 6 years a pair of mute swans is nesting on the territory of the reserve. It is noteworthy that in the past years, mute swans brought out by 4-5 nestlings. Over the past 2 years, the pair has brought out and successfully raised 6 chicks. The number of gray cranes remains stable: today more than 200 specimens are observed on the territory of the reserve.

The administration of the reserve, which is headed by Sabirov Ramil Rakhimovich from the day of its founding, operates on the territory of the Atninskiy and Arskiy regions of the Republic. R.R. Sabirov for years of dedicated work has earned respect and trust among the heads of the region, the population and colleagues. Along with the Head of organization 3 inspectors are working for the benefit of nature conservation: leading specialist Akhmetzyanov Rashit Zinnurovich – has been employed for more than 13 years in this position, 2nd category specialists Abdrakhmanova Gulnara Ilyasovna, Rakhimzyanov Ilshat Iskanderovich.

As part of the environmental education activities, the reserve employees annually conduct successfully environmental campaigns "March of Parks", "Clean forests", "Forest planting day", "Primrose", "Let’s feed birds", "Starling houses contest" and other events which attract more and more children and adults for participating.

The Team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the victory in the 5th Russian Championship among the tree fellers and forestry machines operators “Logger-2017” held in Petrozavodsk city on September 7 - 9.

The Championship was organized by the Russian Union of Timber Industrialists and Exporters, the Republic of Karelia Government with support of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federation Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology. Representatives of 26 regions took part in the Championship. Alongside with the Russian participants of the competition, the guests from the Republic of Belarus showed off their skills, participating non-competitively.

The competitions were conducted in the Kirov square and in Lobanovskiy Park nearby Spartak stadium. The participants passed tree fellers competitions with gas-engine saws (chain replacement, crosscutting with combined run, crosscutting for accuracy), competitions of forwarder operators, at the same time the tree fellers with gas-engine saws competed in tree felling in the secondary field of Spartak republican stadium.

Competitions on trimming and relay race, as well as competition of harvesters took place on the second day of the championship. The picked team of the Republic of Tatarstan was represented by:

Safin Ildar Damirovich – a Team Leader of harvesting machines operators;

Mingaraev Musa Nailevich - a forwarder operator of State Budgetary Institution “Scientific-experimental Sabinskiy district forestry”;

Kondratyev Valeriy Mikhailovich – a harvester operator of State Budgetary Institution “Scientific-experimental Sabinskiy district forestry”;

Elivanov Spartak Nikolaevich – a Team Leader of tree fellers;

Marinin Stanislav Viktorovich – a tree feller of State Budgetary Institution “Nurlatskiy forestry”;

Grishakov Nikolay Lavrentyevich – a tree feller of State Budgetary Institution “Nurlatskiy forestry”;

Alekseev Oleg Nikolaevich – a tree feller of State Budgetary Institution “Nurlatskiy forestry”;

Adeev Fidail Nailevich - a tree feller of State Budgetary Institution “Nurlatskiy forestry” (junior).

Following the results of the Championship the team of the Republic of Tatarstan won the Cup of winners in the team competition among the tree fellers with manual power tool and forestry machines operators.

An alignment meeting with participation of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan A.A.Nazirov is holding in the premises of State Public Institution “Prigorodnyi forestry”. The topic of event “Implementation of state forest monitoring, cultivation of planting material, technology of improvement cutting, methods of pine fungus controlling, labor protection and safety regulation”.

The specialists of State Integrated Nature Reserve “Zeya builary” conducted a demonstration lesson on topic “Conservation and protection of forests in Buinskiy district area” at Lyceum No6 for gifted children of Buinsk town. During the event especially distinguished children were awarded with Diplomas of SINR “Zeya builary” and Letters of gratitude of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the premises of forest seeding facilities of State Public Institution “Isleitarskiy forestry” and State Public Institution “Arskiy Forestry” an alignment meeting on issues of preservation and maintenance of the corresponding facilities was conducted. The experts of Volga-Region State Technological University, Eastern European forest experiment station, Forest protection center of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the representatives of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan took an inventory of pine and fir-tree seeding facilities within the said forestry districts. As a result of the meeting it was decided to perform appropriate works during the year of 2018.
