The education of a careful attitude to the environment, the expansion of knowledge and skills is necessary for its protection and its improvement among students – are an integral part of additional education. Inspectors of the Baltasinsky State Natural Complex Reserve organized the installation of birdhouses together with students of the Nurminskaya school. Homes for birds were hung on the territory of the reserve sq. 105 of the Baltasinsky district forestry. Teachers also took part in the event. By efforts of enthusiasts were installed 40 birdhouses. After fruitful work the participants organized a friendly tea party on the nature.

A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council was held at the Ministry, where a number of promising scientific and industrial developments were considered, including the project "Creation and restoration of forest shelterbelts for increasing yields in the Republic of Tatarstan". This program is aimed at improving the condition of the fertile agricultural lands of the republic. Development of the project is directly connected with the Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of  Tatarstan.

“The creation and restoration of field plantations will improve the accumulation of moisture in the soil during the autumn-winter period, since they act the function of snow retention, uniform distribution of the snow cover in the fields, reduce the depth of soil freezing, increase its moisture capacity. In addition, the fields protected by such plantings are capable of yielding 15-20% more crops grown on them than open lands. The role of sheltered forest plantations in protection against dry winds is invaluable. It prevents the drying of the soil and directly affect the efficiency of agricultural production”, - the head of the department of land and property relations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, A.I. Druzhin, noted in his speech.

First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan E.N. Bedertdinov told that the topic is relevant for the Republic of Tatarstan: “Considering the fact that the Republic is an agro-industrial region, the agrarian sector is given special attention. The institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan are ready to act as executors of works on creation of shelterbelts with appropriate financing. To implement these goals there is the necessary equipment and planting stock of a wide range. However, do not forget that many areas with protective plantations are not put on cadastral records. This creates certain difficulties in their further exploitation. I propose to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, in conjunction with the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan to develop an algorithm of actions to put these areas on cadastral registration”.

All participants of the meeting supported this project; also it was suggested to study the existing positive experience of other states.
