Plan of measures aimed at development of school forestry division’s movement for 2018-2027

Following the results of a specialized session for the members of school forestry divisions and All-Russian Congress of School Forestry divisions held in the premises of All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok" in June – July, 2017, and in fulfillment of the assignment of the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation A.G. Khloponin (No. AH-P9-4475 of July 11, 2017) of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Federal Forestry Agency, a plan for the development of the school forestry division’s movement for 2018-2027 (hereinafter - the Plan) was developed.

Currently the Plan has been brought to the attention of the federal executive authorities and state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for implementation (Instruction No.АH-P9-8369 of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 14, 2017).

The implementation of the Plan's activities is designed to improve the quality of the school forestry divisions operating on the territory of the Russian Federation and increase their total number, to popularize forestry occupations among the younger generation, to create an environmental culture and careful attitude of young people toward forest wealth.

This document will also make it possible to systematize the work of the executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which is currently being conducted in isolation, and will determine the main directions for the development of the school forestry movement in the Russian Federation.
