In forestry districts of the republic, timber is harvested for "Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry" plant

Project on processing of low-value wood realized by the Turkish company "Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry" since 2013 in the special economic zone "Alabuga", is one of the priority projects for the forestry of the republic. The wood harvested in the framework of felling by the state budget institutions "Forestry Enterprise" is transferred to LLC "Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry" plant for further processing and production of MDF.

Commissioning of the plant creates a market of demand for low-value timber, which allows solving the most important forest management tasks to update the stand and improve the forest composition of the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan.
