In Kazan, the employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out "Lesozvoz" operation
Today, in the weight control point "Koltso" the state forest inspectors together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for the Republic of Tatarstan, the Autonomous Non-state Organization "Road Safety" conducted raids on inspecting accompanying documents for the transportation of timber and sawn timber.
In 2018 during the raids eight facts of violations were revealed. This is the transportation of sawn timber without accompanying documents, as well as without registration of purchase and sale transactions in LesEGAIS system.
In relation to the persons committed violations, protocols were drawn up on administrative offenses, vehicles were placed in specialized parking lots.
Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds: the transportation of wood without the accompanying document, which is documented in the order established by the forestry legislation, shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of thirty to fifty thousand rubles with the confiscation of timber or vehicles that are the instrument of committing an administrative offense. For legal entities, the fine will be from five hundred to seven hundred thousand rubles.
Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan call on citizens to be vigilant and not to buy stolen timber.
