The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan awarded the winners of the essay contest

Today Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Forestry and Ecology Faculty of Kazan State Agrarian University, where he met with future university entrants - pupils of school forest districts of Tatarstan. Jaudat Faizrakhmanov, Rector of University, Lyudmila Pukhacheva, Dean of the Forestry and Ecology Faculty and Professor Haris Musin took part in the event.

As part of the welcoming speech, Ravil Kuzyurov underlined the importance of conservation and multiplication of forests, not only in the ecological sense, but also noted the significant impact of the forest sector in the economy of the region and the country.

 

"At present the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic is developing a program to support young professionals who have decided to link their lives with the forest sector. We will try hard to get help from the government, young specialists should go to work with us," Minister Ravil Kuzyurov noted.

At the end of the meeting Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Jaudat Faizrakhmanov, Rector of the University awarded the winners of the essay contest. It was held among the pupils of the 10th form of school forest districts of Tatarstan. The children presented their thoughts on the topic "My native land is a forest cradle" and "Forests of my small motherland". The main goal of the contest is popularization of forestry professions.

The Contest Committee reviewed the works of 17 pupils. The contest was held in two nominations – in the Russian and Tatar languages. The pupils from Sabinskiy Forest District and Laishevskiy Forestry Establishment became the winners. The best pupils received awards from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
