"Clean forests of Tatarstan" campaign will be held on May 12
On May 12, 2018 at 10.00 a.m., within the framework of the republican environmental campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan" a united day of forest areas cleaning-up will take place with the participation of Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The central action is planned in Vysokogorskiy district forestry, block 89, near Vysokaya Gora village.
The traditional environmental campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan - 2018" is held from April 25 to June 25 and from September 15 to November 15. State forestry officials, the Republic of Tatarstan Prosecutor's Office, employees of ministries, departments, judicial bodies, representatives of the public will take part in forest areas cleaning.
The traditional campaign "Clean forests of Tatarstan" is one of the significant and large-scale events held at the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan in two stages - in spring and autumn, gaining increasing popularity among the population. The purpose of this campaign is to maintain a favorable sanitary condition of forests, as well as to attract public attention to environmental issues.
A great influence on the sanitary condition of forests in recent years has been made by increasing recreational impact, as a result of which forests are polluted with household waste.
This campaign contributes to the balanced socio-economic development of the republic and the realization of the constitutional rights of citizens to a favorable environment.
It should be noted that last year, about 29,000 residents of the republic took part in the event to clean up forests from clutter. Active participants carried out cleaning along roads and federal and regional roads, collected solid waste, dead wood and fallen trees. The volume of garbage collected amounted to 4,175 m3. In addition, 157 informational and recreational objects: boards, nameplates, arbors for recreation, located in the forest fund and along motor roads, were renovated within the framework of the campaign, 21 springs were cleared and landscaped.
Pure forests are a guarantee of health, a pledge of our future! It is much more pleasant to inhale fresh air and admire the bright colors of the forest. Preserving the forest for millennia is not difficult, one small step - and the forest has been preserved for many years.
