High class of fire danger remains in Tatarstan
Fire control measures have been strengthened in Tatarstan, the number of patrols has increased, and the forces and means of fire extinguishing have been brought to the state of readiness. Currently, the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan is dominated by 4-5 classes of fire danger, - Federal Budgetary Institution "Avialesokhran" reported.
From September 7 to September 13, 2018, the high fire danger of forests (class 4) will remain locally in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, an emergency forest fire hazard is expected in some western regions (class 5), the Office for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of the Republic of Tatarstan reports.
Due to the high fire hazard, foresters do not recommend residents of Tatarstan to admit violations of fire safety rules. It is forbidden to burn stubble, straw residues, and dry grass. Violators of fire safety shall be fined, for citizens from 1500 to 3000 rubles, on officials - from 10 000 to 20 000.
