Fire season came to the end in Tatarstan
On October 15 fire season in the territory of Tatarstan came to the end. Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic will continue to control the situation with fires in the forests on a daily basis. Frequencies of forest areas patrolling will be maintained in places where logging and burning of logging residues are conducted. 23 fire and chemical stations of forest districts started maintenance and repair work of fire and engineering equipment. Preparations are underway for the new fire-hazardous season of 2019. Mineralized firebreak strips are being renewed.
It is worth noting that thanks to competent preventive measures conducted by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan no forest fires were allowed in the region for the period 2011-2018.
