State Public Institution "Privolzhskiy Forest District" organized tree planting with involvement of the public
In the framework of the federal environmental campaign “Live, Forest!”, a forest planting event was held on the territory of the Verkhneuslonskiy municipal district. It was aimed at education of the younger generation in caring for the forest and drawing the public attention to the problems of forest resources preserving and enhancing.
Representatives of the Verkhneuslonskiy District Executive Committee, forest tenants, schoolchildren, including school forestry pupils, volunteers and, of course, foresters took part in the campaign.
At the end of the event, the park of the Kuralovskiy rural settlement got a new look with 25 spruce saplings. Viburnum, mountain ash, hawthorn and spruce were planted in the square of Verkhniy Uslon on the area of 0.8 hectares. Schoolchildren improved the territory of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Oktyabrskiy Secondary Educational School" with beautiful spruce.
Greening the planet is a very important task. The tree itself is a symbol of peace and reminding for people of the fragility of nature and the need to protect it.
