Minister of Forestry of Tatarstan held an operational meeting
Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, gathered his deputies and heads of relevant departments to report on implementation of current tasks and development of projects for the near future.
Those present discussed issues of holding auctions for the right to conclude contracts for purchase and sale of forest plantations by business facilities, listened to reports from the heads of relevant departments on forest conservation, protection and reproduction activities, raised the topic of fulfilling contractual obligations with timber supply companies.
R. Kuzyurov focused the attention of the management team on strengthening the detection of forest violations. “It is necessary to conduct regular and systematic joint raids with law enforcement agencies in the framework of implementation of the Federal State Forest Surveillance”, the Minister addressed the department’s leadership.
At the meeting, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry also focused on organizational issues of upcoming board in 2018, which is planned for the end of December.
