Lesovoz Operation continues in Tatarstan
Operational and preventive event “Lesovoz” continues in the Republic of Tatarstan, within the framework of implementation of the federal law of December 28, 2013 No. 415-FZ.
In 2018, state forest inspectors of Tatarstan initiated 25 cases of administrative offenses under Part 5 of Article 8.28.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for transportation of wood without an accompanying document prepared in accordance with the forest legislation, and imposed administrative fines of more than 1 million rubles. Together with the employees of the Kazan Inter-district Environmental Prosecutor's Office, remediation reports were issued in relation to the persons who committed violations.
Specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan remind that transportation of wood without an accompanying document issued in accordance with the procedure established by forest legislation imposes an administrative fine on officials in the amount of 30 to 50 thousand rubles with confiscation of wood and (or) vehicles that are instruments of administrative offense , or without it; for legal entities - from 500 to 700 thousand rubles with confiscation of wood and (or) vehicles, which are instruments of administrative offense, or without it.
