Students and employees of Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College became winners of Orienteering Championship in Almetyevsk
Students and employees of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College took part in the Open Orienteering Championship in Almetyevsk. Competitions were held on November 24 in the City Park named after 60th anniversary of Tatarstan oil.
In total 245 people participated in the competition. All of them had to demonstrate their skills in topographic maps reading and orienteering.
According to the results of the competition, representatives of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College were awarded several prizes in their age categories. The first places were taken by student Aleksandr Erokhin and teachers Elena Usova and Elena Tikhonova, the second - by student Milana Egorova, the third - by student Karina Akhmetzyanova and graphic designer Viktor Zaitsev.
Then the delegation of the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College visited Almetyevsk College of Physical Culture. Students were told about the history of creation of the college in Almetyevsk and its outstanding graduates.
