A volunteer ecological session for activists of the environmental movement of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Kazan
From November 23 to November 25, 2018, regular volunteer ecological session for activists of the environmental movement of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in the premises of the Regina Hotel Complex. The session was organized by RMOO "Center for Development of Volunteering of the Republic of Tatarstan" with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within the framework of the session a panel discussion “Together we will do a common cause” took place. One of the experts of the “round table” was Andrei Atamanov, Leading Consultant of the Department of Forest Reproduction and Afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Participants - high school pupils and university students of the republic - were divided into 8 groups. Each of them had to identify short-term, medium-term and long-term goals on topics such as "environmental education", "separate garbage collection", "polluted air", "animals (wild and domestic)" and protect their projects before the members of the competent jury.
