Delegation from Sverdlovsk Region visited Tatarstan
A delegation from the Sverdlovsk Region headed by Deputy Director of the Forestry Department of the region, Vladimir Berezhnov, visited Tatarstan on a working visit. Delegation also included Evgeniy Zhigulin, Director of Leskhozinvest OOO (Limited Liability Company), Anton Opletaev, Associate Professor of the Department of Forestry of the Ural State Forestry University, and others.
Today, Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov and Rais Gumerov met with the delegation from the Sverdlovsk Region. The meeting participants shared their experience in reforestation and discussed topical issues of forest fund conservation and enhancement.
Then the delegation members visited the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Leskhoz village of Sabinsky municipal district, where they inspected greenhouses, a training ground for seedlings hardening and growing, a refrigerated building for their storage and other premises. Specialists from the Sverdlovsk region were told that the production capacity of the center is 12 million pieces of planting material with closed root system per year. Ruslan Gazizov, Director of Forest Selection and Seed Center gave explanations during the inspection.
