Forestry specialists of Elabuzhskiy municipal district carried out work on harvesting of illiquid wood on the area of more than 70 hectares

Specialists of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy forestry” cleaned illiquid wood on the area of more than 70 hectares in November of the current year. Evgeniya Kletkina, Deputy Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”, said that the work was carried out in the forest fund of Tukayevskiy, Mendeleyevskiy and Elabuzhskiy municipal districts.

“This sanitary and health event is held in order to prepare for the future fire hazard season and prevent the spread of forest pests, - she added. - In total 40 people are involved in the work”.
