The Ministry discussed the issues of “Yel” operation and results of the work of forest districts and forestry enterprises in 2018
A meeting was held today at the Ministry in the form of a videoconference on the issues of holding an inter-departmental operational and preventive event “Yel” and results of the work of forest districts and forestry enterprises in 2018. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. The meeting was attended by deputy ministers, heads and specialists of the departments of the Ministry, forestry managers and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Emir Bedertdinov and Rais Gumerov, made keynote reports at the meeting.
Emir Bedertdinov dwelled on the moments of holding the inter-departmental operational preventive event “Yel” in the period from December 20 to December 31, 2018. “As part of this operation, systematic patrols of forest areas with a predominance of coniferous plantations should be carried out. In addition, we should not forget about the explanatory work in mass media”, the speaker noted.
Emir Bedertdinov also focused attention of the meeting participants on issues of issuing warnings on inadmissibility of violations of forest legislation. According to him, work on identifying the facts of forest violations is conducted at a high level in Prigorodnyi, Elabuzhskiy, Laishevskiy, Menzelinskiy, Zelenodolskiy and Almetyevskiy forest districts.
Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov acquainted the participants with results of the work of forest districts and forestry enterprises of Tatarstan for the current year. “We need to keep control over the payment of fines for violations of forest legislation and compensation for damage”, the Deputy Minister stressed.
The Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, summed up the meeting. “Monitor personally every question. There must be order, - he said, addressing forest managers and directors of forest enterprises. - As part of “Yel” Operation, I ask you to be as strict as possible; we cannot allow cases of illegal logging of coniferous young stock”.
