Staff of State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Elabuzhskiy Forest District" are ready for "Yel" operation
Specialists of SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” are ready for an interdepartmental operational and preventive event “Yel”.
“Four mobile patrol groups have been created from among the employees of the forestry department and territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of 16 people will be involved”, said Ramis Gilaziev, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”.
Let us recall that the operation “Yel” will start tomorrow, on December 20 throughout the Republic of Tatarstan. Illegal felling, damage to forest stands entails imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 3 to 4 thousand rubles, on officials - from 20 to 40 thousand rubles, on legal entities - from 200 to 300 thousand rubles. In addition, a person who has committed illegal logging will have to compensate for the damage caused to forests, which depends on the species of felled tree and the place of its growth, the category of forest protection.
