Ministerial Meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan held a ministerial meeting at which the course of execution of protocol instructions was reviewed. It was led by the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, managers and specialists of relevant departments of the Ministry.
The meeting participants reported to the Minister about the ongoing work on prevention and detection of forest legislation violations, protection and reproduction of forests of the republic, development of the allowable cutting area, supply of wood to enterprises of Tatarstan, development of school forest districts, etc.
After listening to the reports, Ravil Kuzyurov stated the need to strengthen control over the conduct of inter-departmental operational and preventive event “Yel”. “Go to the districts yourself”, he said, addressing the meeting participants. “We must provide daily patrols in all forest areas with a predominance of coniferous plantations”.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister inquired about the progress in approving the “Forest Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period 2019-2028” and instructed the staff of the Ministry to develop an activities plan for cleaning of forest plantations from litter for 2019.
