Сongratulations of the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov on the coming New year
Dear forestry specialists and workersof the Republic of Tatarstan and veterans of the forest industry!
On behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry staff and on in my personal capacity, I would like to congratulate you on the upcoming New Year 2019!
The past year was successful and we have completed all the set challenges. Reforestation was carried out on the area of 2,379 hectares;shelterbelt forest was fulfilled on the area of 2,470 hectares according to the government task.Thanks to the hard work of the industry specialists more than 48 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested and over 30.3 million pieces of standard planting material were grown, including 12 million pieces with root-balled tree system.The forest pathology research was carried out on the area of 49 thousand hectares, sanitary and curative measures- on the area of more than 7 thousand hectares andintermediate cutting of forest and sanitary felling on 20.5 thousand hectares.Thus, we managed to reduce the area of damaged and dead plantings by 9.5 thousand hectares.Forest is one of the natural resources of our Motherland and the most important factor influencing the state of the environment.Reforestation and afforestation provided positive results, but it takes years to evaluate it.We see further development of the industry through systematic work on the conservation, protection and reproduction of forests, introduction of innovative technologies, and attractionof new personnel and improvement of forestry specialists working conditions.Priority targets and objectives for the upcoming period are set forth in the newly developed “Forest Plan of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period 2019-2028.”
