17 facts of illegal logging of coniferous trees were revealed in Tatarstan in the framework of “Yel” Operation
Results of inter-departmental operational preventive event "Yel" were summed up in the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the operation, 139 mobile patrol groups were created, 346 people were involved - 266 state forest inspectors and 80 employees of territorial departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the patrol, 17 facts of illegal logging of coniferous trees were revealed, including by employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Sabinskiy Forest District”, the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tetyushskiy Forest District” - 4 violations each, State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District” - 3, State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Mamadyshskiy Forest District”, State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Alkeyevskiy Forest District” – by 2 violations, State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Leninogorskiy Forest District” and the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forest District”- by 1. For all cases of violations of forest legislation, administrative offenses have been initiated against the violators. The total damage to the forest fund amounted to 28.5 thousand rubles.
