A Ministerial Meeting was held at the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan held a ministerial meeting where the results of work were summed up and tasks for the forthcoming period were set. It was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by deputy ministers, heads and specialists of departments of the Ministry.
During the meeting, the results of work on forests conservation, protection and reproduction, cleaning of forest plantations in 2018, as well as the results of an interdepartmental preventive operation "Yel" in the period from December 20 to 31 of last year were discussed. Let us recall that during the patrol 18 facts of illegal logging of coniferous trees were revealed.
Ravil Kuzyurov called the staff of the Ministry to continue working to protect forests from illegal logging. “It is important not only to detect violations in a timely manner, but to a greater extent - to prevent them”, the Minister stressed.
In conclusion Ravil Kuzyurov gave several instructions concerning the laying of water protection forest plantations in 2019 and the work of children's recreation camps located in the forest fund.
