Work of the LesEGAIS system in 2018 was summed up in the Federal Forestry Agency. Thus, last year, the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation submitted almost 1.5 million legal documents to the portal, individuals and legal entities submitted more than 888 thousand declarations of wood transactions, and also 753.4 thousand units of marked wood of oak, beech and ash were registered.
It is noted that in 2018, 34.5 thousand forest users and more than 2.6 thousand representatives of the executive authorities were registered in the LesEGAIS system.
In general, more than 2 thousand wood trade declarations have been made daily in the system since 2017.
The system is actively used by citizens, public organizations, regulatory and law enforcement agencies. Employees of the Federal Customs Service, the Federal Tax Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia use the data of the LesEGAIS system when investigating administrative and criminal offenses.
