The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan has begun preparations for the fire-hazardous season of 2019. At present, a “General plan for extinguishing forest fires in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan” is being developed as part of a set of measures.

This document will display data on forests of the republic, the number of forest fire formations, fire equipment and machinery, procedure for attracting and using such funds in accordance with the level of fire danger in forests, etc.

Fire season in forests of Tatarstan is expected to begin on April 15, 2019.
