The Ministry discussed preparation for the fire season in forests at video conferencing
Today, the Ministry held a meeting in the form of a video conference on preparation for the fire-dangerous season of 2019. The meeting was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by the Deputy Director of the “Privolzhskiy Quality Center” Group of Companies - Mariya Yankovskaya, Deputy Ministers Emir Bedertdinov, Rais Gumerov, heads and specialists of the departments of the Ministry, head-foresters of forest districts and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mariya Yankovskaya spoke on the stages of implementation of professional standards. She recalled that such activities should be carried out in all organizations. The complex of measures for implementation of professional standards includes issuing an order to create a commission, holding a commission meeting and drawing up an implementation schedule, defining the labor functions of workers and applying the required professional standards, etc. “The transition period is set till January 1, 2020, during which enterprises must introduce professional standards”, said Mariya Yankovskaya.
The keynote address was made by First Deputy Minister Emir Bedertdinov. “There is not much time left before the start of fire season in forests”, he said. “Now it is necessary to pay special attention to the issues of preparation for this period and control over compliance with fire safety requirements by citizens, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities”.
As the main task, Emir Bedertdinov outlined the preparation of fire-fighting equipment and equipment of fire-chemical stations and points of concentration of fire-fighting equipment.
“In addition, the directors of forestry enterprises must ensure the clearing of logging sites from logging residues prior to the beginning of the fire-dangerous season”, the First Deputy Minister added.
The Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, during his speech made a special emphasis on explanatory work in preparation for the fire-dangerous season of 2019. “Head-Foresters need to hold a coordination meeting in each district with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, land users, heads of rural settlements and active citizens. We must do everything possible to prevent the occurrence of forest fires in the territory of Tatarstan”, the Minister stressed.
Also, the meeting discussed issues of career guidance, reporting and implementation of the accounting system for the forest complex "Avers: Forest Fund Management" in the subordinate institutions of the Ministry.
