Preparation for the fire season in forests was discussed in Nurlatskiy municipal district
A meeting on preparation for the fire-hazardous season of 2019 was held in State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forest District”. The event was attended by the Head-Forester Rustem Galeyev and local forest wardens of the forest districts.
Rustem Galeyev reminded that the fire-dangerous season in the forests would begin on April 15. He dwelt on the main points of preparation for this period - meetings with heads of rural settlements, owners of lands adjacent to the forest fund, distribution of information leaflets among the population, laying of fire-fighting mineralized strips, etc.
The Head-Forester said that on April 12 district exercises to extinguish forest fires and eliminate the consequences of emergency situations would be held in Zarechny settlement.
Also issues of forestry work in the current year were discussed at the meeting.
