Tatarstan forestry specialists are preparing for forestry work in 2019
Forest industry specialists of the Republic of Tatarstan are preparing for forestry work in 2019. So, these days, plots are selected and projects are being developed for laying ravine-gully forest plantations in the subordinate institutions of the Ministry.
Also, projects are being prepared for cleaning dry and fallen trees in forest shelter plantations, which are amounted to more than 21 thousand hectares in the republic. It should be noted that this year, work will be carried out to supplement the shelter forest plantations; for these purposes, 30.3 million pieces of standard planting material were grown in Tatarstan forestry enterprises, including 23.9 million pieces of coniferous species, 5.1 million pieces of hardwoods and 1.3 million pieces of shrubs.
In addition, at present, employees of institutions, together with the executive committees of municipal districts, are working on cadastral registration of land plots for further creation of water protective forest stands on them. These works are planned to be carried out within the framework of the national project “Ecology”.
