The Ministry discussed the tasks for the upcoming period at the meeting in a videoconference mode
Today, the Ministry held a meeting in the form of a videoconference, at which the tasks for the upcoming period were reviewed. The meeting was held by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov. The event was attended by Olga Kalashnikova, Chairman of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of Governmental and Public Service Employees of the Russian Federation, Ilgizar Zaripov, Administrative Officer of the Ministry, heads and specialists of departments, head-foresters of forest districts and directors of the forestry enterprises of the republic.
Olga Kalashnikova spoke at the beginning of the meeting. She informed the participants about the activities of the organization, measures of social support for union members and ongoing activities.
The keynote address was delivered by Ilgizar Zaripov, Administrative Officer of the Ministry. He recalled that in a month the fire hazard season in the forests would begin.
“Our main task is to prepare forest fire vehicle and equipment of fire and chemical stations and concentration points of fire-fighting equipment. From March 11, we plan to inspect the readiness of fire and chemical stations”, said Ilgizar Zaripov.
According to him, along with this, no less important are works on issuing warnings about the inadmissibility of violating fire safety rules in forests, clearing logging sites from logging residues and informing the public about the rules of behavior in forests. The speaker noted that in 2019 it was planned to distribute more than 15 thousand pieces of information leaflets and install 30 new announcements on fire prevention topics.
Ilgizar Zaripov also dwelled on the issues of harvesting deadwood in forests and carrying out the harvesting of illiquid wood. This work in the current year will be performed on the area of 3,120 hectares.
The Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, during his speech, called on the heads of subordinate institutions of the Ministry to approach responsibly to work with population to prevent forest fires. “All forms of interaction are accepted. These are coordination meetings, speeches at various gatherings, meetings, visits of the heads of rural settlements, forest users, owners of lands adjacent to the forest fund. You should not just send warnings to tenants, you should meet each one personally”, the Minister stressed.
After that, Ravil Kuzyurov asked the head-foresters to report on activities carried out in preparation for the fire-hazardous season of 2019.
In particular, Ramis Gilaziev, Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Elabuzhskiy Forest District”, said that as of today, 22 voluntary fire brigades, 9 mobile patrol teams and 14 warnings were issued by the staff of the institution.
Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Buinskiy Forest District”, Ilnar Gataullin, reported that at present, the forestry was working on manning the fire alarm equipment concentration points and issuing warnings. Three banners have been prepared that will be installed after the snow melted, he concluded.
