Today a vacancy fair for students and graduates of the university was held at the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of the Kazan State Agrarian University. The event was attended by the Administrative Officer of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ilgizar Zaripov, the Dean of the faculty Lyudmila Pukhacheva, the Head of the Center for pre-university training and job placement of graduates Guzel Fassakhova, representatives of the republican forest districts and forestry enterprises.

Lyudmila Pukhacheva opened the meeting. “The goal of our event is to help you decide where to work”, she said, addressing the graduates. “In the forestry sector of the republic, young specialists are always welcome, they are ready to employ you without experience and teach everything”.

Ilgizar Zaripov acquainted those present with the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and the activities of the Ministry and its subordinate institutions. In particular, he said that today the total forest area of ​​Tatarstan was about 1.3 million hectares, and the industry employed more than 2.6 thousand people. “About 30 million pieces of standard planting material are grown annually in the republic, reforestation is being carried out on the area of ​​over 2.3 thousand hectares and laying protective forest plantations - on the area of ​​over 2.4 thousand hectares”, Ilgizar Zaripov said.

He also focused on protecting forests from fires, conducting sanitary and recreational activities, etc.

“Currently, the industry has about 40 vacancies. Forest districts and forestry enterprises are waiting for forest masters, forest reproduction engineers, accountants, personnel specialists, Ilgizar Zaripov said. - As they say, if you decide to bind your fate with forestry, our doors are always open for you”.

Then potential employers spoke – head-foresters and deputies of the Prigorodnyi, Privolzhskiy, Laishevskiy, Isleitarskiy and Kzyl-Yulduzskiy forest districts. They talked about their institutions, working conditions and residence for employees.
