A meeting of the Public Council took place in the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the Ministry held a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ravil Kuzyurov, his Deputy Rais Gumerov, Administrative Officer Ilgizar Zaripov, representatives of institutions and organizations of the republic.
The meeting was opened by Minister Ravil Kuzyurov. “This is our first meeting this year, he said, addressing those present. - The Public Council under the Ministry has been active since 2010. In connection with the expiration of the term of office of the association members, today our agenda includes the election of a new chairman and the composition of the council”.
After discussion, Ilgiz Zaripov, Director of the Forest Museum of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan was unanimously elected as a new Chairman. The Minister wished him success and thanked the former chairman Evgeny Guskov for fruitful work over the past three years.
Ainur Puryaev, Director of the Federal Budgetary Institution VNIILM branch of Eastern European Forest Experiment Station was elected as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Nadezhda Kuzyakina, Director of the Federal Budgetary Institution Roslesozashchita branch of the Center for Forest Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan – as a Secretary.
Ilgiz Zaripov thanked the members of the council for their confidence in him. “As a new chairman, I’ll say that we are always ready to discuss problems”, he stressed.
Further, the meeting participants discussed the shortcomings of the regulatory legal framework for the creation of "green belts", the laying of forest plantations around the city of Kazan, and others.
