More than 100 events took place as part of the International Day of Forests in Tatarstan
Today the International Day of Forests is celebrated in the Republic of Tatarstan. Within its framework, lessons, round tables, presentations at general education and pre-school institutions, Open Day at the Lubyanskiy Forestry Engineering College, a solemn meeting at the Kazan State Agrarian University etc. were held. In total, more than 100 events were held.
For example, a dedication of new members to the ranks of the forestry school “Forest Spring” was held in the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Lesno-Kaleikinskaya Secondary General Education School" in Almetyevskiy district. Damir Mindrakhmanov, Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Kaleikinskiy Forest District”, made a parting word.
Employees of the SPI of RT “Tetyushskiy Forest District” and the SPI of RT “Bilyarskiy Forest District” held “Forest Lessons” in educational institutions. Specialists of the SPI of RT “Cheremshanskiy Forest District” and the SPI of RT “Zainskiy Forest District”, along with classes, hung out birdhouses together with young foresters.
Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Airat Akhmerov spoke at the pedagogical council “Ecology as a Worldview” at the Municipal Budgetary Educational of Additional Education “CDT “Tankodrom” of Sovetskiy district of Kazan with a report on “Agitation and propaganda activities for protection of forests from fires, as part of a complex of fire prevention events”. During his speech, he called on teachers to educate pupils more about the state of forestry in Tatarstan, the importance of forest resources and the rules of behavior in forests.
In conclusion, we note that within the framework of the holiday, an exhibition of works of pupils of schools and pupils of preschool institutions of Kazan was organized in the hall of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.
