Issues of spring silvicultural work in 2019 were considered in Tetyushskiy district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Issues of spring silvicultural work in 2019 were discussed in Tetyushskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held in the premises of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tetyushskiy Forest District”, the staff of the forest district and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Tetyushskiy Forestry Enterprise” took part in the discussion.
The Director of the forestry enterprise, Rais Khalitov, said that currently the institution was repairing and maintaining tractors and silvicultural machinery, and started harvesting cuttings on plantations.
To conduct silvicultural works, more than 2.5 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested. Need for standard planting material is completely fulfilled.
This year it is planned to carry out work on reforestation on the area of 22 hectares, forestation – on 15 hectares and laying protective forest plantations – on about 37 hectares on the territory of the forest fund of the SPI of RT “Tetyushskiy Forest District”.
At the end of the meeting a safety briefing was conducted.
