Today, implementation of a project to create a center for growing pedunculate oak planting material with a closed root system was discussed in the premises of the Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was attended by the Administrative officer of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - Ilgizar Zaripov, the Head of Sabinsky municipal district - Rais Minnikhanov, the Head of the Forest Reproduction and Forestation Department of the Ministry, Timur Galiyev and others.
The project to create a complex is planned to be implemented on the basis of Forest Selection and Seed Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. With its successful implementation, the production capacity of the center will be 2 million oak and other hardwood seedlings with closed root system per year.
The meeting participants considered the issues of financing the project, equipping the center, etc.
