The Head-Forester of Nurlatskiy forestry spoke at the district meeting with a report on the fire-hazardous season in forests
The Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatskiy Forest District” Rustem Galeyev spoke at a meeting with the heads of institutions, organizations and enterprises of Nurlatskiy municipal district. In his speech, he spoke about the results of work of the institution in the first quarter of 2019, the fire-hazardous season in forests, the rules of fire safety and environmental campaign “Forest Planting Day”.
In particular, Rustem Galeyev reported that during this period, 14 state protocols on administrative violations were issued by state forest inspectors of forestry and 27 warnings were issued to owners and users of lands adjacent to the forest fund on inadmissibility of violating fire safety requirements.
“At present, we are conducting raids within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period, we are engaged in digging up planting material and laying fire-fighting mineralized strips”, added the Head-Forester.
The speaker also reminded the meeting participants about the need to clean the areas adjacent to the forest from dry grass, crop residues, deadwood, logging residues, debris and other combustible materials or to separate the forest with a fire-fighting mineralized belt.
In conclusion, Rustem Galeyev dwelt on the issues of holding the Forest Planting Day campaign. “We will plant seedlings on the area of 7.9 hectares in Vishnevo-Polyanskiy district forestry. I invite everyone to join the campaign”, he concluded.
