On April 29 republican trainings to extinguish forest fires will be held in Bolgar
On April 29, 2019, at 09:00 am, at the Spasskiy district forestry of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bolgarskiy Forest District” (near the Bread Museum, Bolgar town, Kul Gali street, 3) a seminar-meeting will be held on prevention and suppression of natural fires along with working out of consolidated plan of extinguishing forest fires in the Republic of Tatarstan with the involvement of forces and means of emergency prevention and response subsystem. Employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, its subordinate institutions, the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”, fire and chemical stations, etc. will take part in the training. It is expected that the event will gather more than 250 people.
Along with this, the regional stage of the V All-Russian competition of professional skill “The Best Forest Fireman – 2019” will be held on this day. 50 people will take part in competition - these are specialists of fire and chemical stations and points of concentration of fire-fighting equipment at the republican forestry enterprises.
The competition will be held in two stages (testing of theoretical knowledge and practical skills). At the first stage, the contestants will have to answer questions regarding the extinguishing of forest fires, occupational safety and first aid. During the practical task, the contestants will demonstrate their level of physical fitness (push-ups from the floor, run a distance of 100 meters with a load of 20 kg and pull-ups), overcome an obstacle course and show the skills of extinguishing “conditional fire” and “conditional bottom fire” with the use of a motor pump.
