Forest culture season continues in Tatarstan
The forest culture season continues in the Republic of Tatarstan. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of May 6 of this year, reforestation and afforestation were carried out on the area of 1,114.4 hectares, and laying of protective forest stands - on the area of 551.7 hectares.
The staff of Aznakayevskiy, Alkeyevskiy, Bavlinskiy, Bilyarskiy, Bolgarskiy, Privolzhskiy, Prigorodnyi and Sabinskiy forestry enterprises completed the planting of forest crops.
It is worth noting that this year the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan is holding a production competition among subordinate institutions for planting forest crops using planting material with improved hereditary properties. The republic's forestry enterprises will have to compete for the titles “Forest Nursery of High Culture” and “Forest Nursery of High Culture of Greenhouse Farming”.
