Today, on the eve of Victory Day, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ravil Kuzyurov, visited home-front workers - veterans of the forest industry. The Minister congratulated the veterans on the upcoming holiday and presented them gifts.
In particular, the Minister visited Mariya Basyrova, a resident of Kazan. During the conversation, Mariya Basyrova spoke about the difficult years of the war and a no less simple post-war period. “I just graduated from high school when the war started, my father volunteered for the front, the veteran recalled. - In 1943 I entered the Volga Forestry Institute. There was no one to count on; it was difficult with food, at night we stood in line for bread. I studied, earned money. But we somehow survived. Then I met my husband, a participant in the war, we lived with him in peace and harmony for 41 years”.
Mariya Basyrova worked for about 25 years, first in management, and then in the Ministry of Forestry of the TASSR. “I passed from an ordinary engineer to the head of the sales department. I retired in 1985, she said. - I remember our Minister Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Gulyayev. He was a golden man, very kind, a true professional in his field. Under his leadership, we were a friendly, cohesive team”.
Ravil Kuzyurov also visited the honored forester of the Russian Federation and the TASSR Akhmadulla Gazizullin in Vasilievo village of Zelenodolskiy municipal district. Akhmadulla Gazizullin - a famous forester, professor, doctor of agricultural sciences. In 2000, he initiated reestablishment of the forestry department at the Kazan State Agricultural Academy, after which he worked as head of the department of forestry and forest cultures. Akhmadulla Gazizullin made a great scientific contribution to development of the industry and the laboratory of micro-clonal vegetative propagation of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational and Experimental Sabinskiy Forestry”.
During the conversation, the Minister and Akhmadullah Gazizullin recalled the post-war years and discussed the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of forestry activities.
Also, Deputy Minister of Forestry Rais Gumerov and the Administrative Officer of the Ministry Ilgizar Zaripov congratulated home-front workers - veterans of forestry.
