Employees of the Prigorodnyi forest district and the Educational and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise discovered and eliminated an unauthorized landfill on the territory of the forest fund
Today, employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodnyi Forest District” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Educational and Experimental Prigorodnyi Forestry Enterprise” conducted an environmental raid within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period and the republican environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. During the raid, an unauthorized dump in the forest fund of quarter 189 of Vysokogorskiy district forestry was discovered and eliminated.
“It is difficult to restrain emotions when you see such an irresponsible attitude towards the forest. There are about 8 cubic meters of garbage here”, says Ilnur Kashafeyev, Head-Forester of the SPI of RT “Prigorodnyi Forest District. - This is our daily work, we conduct it not only for 2 months, but the entire spring, summer and autumn. Only for this season, more than 100 cubic meters of industrial, municipal solid waste were collected and removed from the territory of the forest fund of Prigorodnyi forest district.
The sanitary-ecological bimonthly period in the Republic of Tatarstan started on April 1 of this year, and the environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” - on April 22. About 400 cubic meters of household waste were removed from the forest estate in the republic as a whole, within the framework of the events. 5 cases of administrative offenses under Article 8.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of the rules of sanitary safety in forests were initiated.
