Aerial surveillance of forests started in Tatarstan

In connection with establishment of fire hazard of class IV in the Republic of Tatarstan, aerial surveillance of forest fund began. Today the route passes over the territory of Kazan, Atninskiy, Baltasinskiy, Sabinskiy and Laishevskiy municipal districts. The flight is carried out on an AN-2 aircraft. Along with this, ground and space monitoring of the fire hazard situation continues in the republic.

We remind you that the fire-dangerous season in forests of the Republic of Tatarstan is open from April 15, 2019. According to the rules of fire safety, it is prohibited in the forests:

1) to make fires in coniferous youngsters, on burns, in areas of damaged forest, peatlands, in places of logging (in cutting areas) that are not cleared of logging residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, and also under tree crowns;

2) to throw burning matches, cigarette butts and hot ashes from smoking pipes, glass (bottles, cans, etc.);

3) to use wads of combustible or smoldering materials when hunting;

4) to leave materials (paper, cloth, tow, wool, etc.) oiled or impregnated with gasoline, kerosene or other combustible substances in places not provided for this purpose;

5) to refuel fuel tanks of internal combustion engines when the engine is running, use machines with a faulty engine power supply system, and also smoke or use open fire in the vicinity of cars that are filled with fuel;

6) to litter the forest with household, construction, industrial and other waste and garbage.

Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles.
