Environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” continues in the republic
Environmental campaign “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” continues in the republic. Let us recall that it started on April 22 of this year.
As part of the campaign, the territory of forest fund in municipal districts is cleared from municipal solid waste, deadwood and fallen trees, as well as nameplate boards, information boards, and recreation areas in forests are repaired and maintained. Specialists of institutions, enterprises, organizations, ecological associations, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, and volunteers take part in the work of cleaning the forest. As a result of the campaign, as of May 15, more than 200 cubic meters of household waste have been scavenged from the forest fund.
Along with this, state forest inspectors conduct raids within the framework of the sanitary-ecological bimonthly period. As of today, 6 cases of administrative offenses under Art. 8.31 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of the rules of sanitary safety in forests were initiated. Violations were recorded by employees of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Cheremshanskiy Forest District”, the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinskiy Forest District”, the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Agryzskiy Forest District”, the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Sabinskiy Forest District” and State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Zelenodolskiy Forest District”.
