Environmental campaign “Present the forest to your friend” took place in Aznakayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan
Yesterday, on May 15, an environmental campaign “Present the forest to your friend” took place on the territory of the Chatyr-Tau state nature reserve in Aznakayevskiy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The organizer of the campaign was “Pochta Bank” Public Joint-Stock Company.
The Head of the district, Marsel Shaidullin, the Chairman of the State Committee on Biological Resources Fedor Batkov, the Head-Forester of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forest District” Elvir Khazeyev, the Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakayevskiy Forestry Enterprise” Eduard Chikurov and others took part in the mass planting of trees.
As part of the campaign, 38.1 thousand spruce and European pine seedlings were planted on the area of 10 hectares. It is expected that the created forest stands will help to protect the soil from water and wind erosion, as well as improve the ecological status of the reserve.
