Sowing of seeds in forest nurseries is completed in Tatarstan
In Tatarstan, planting of seeds in forest nurseries is completed. According to specialists of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of May 17 of this year, such works were carried out on the area of more than 17 hectares. In total this year it is planned to sow seeds in nurseries on the area of 22 hectares and to grow more than 30 million pieces of planting material.
Along with this, work continues to complement forest crops. As of today, such work is carried out on the area of 2,414 hectares.
Let us recall that in the republic, planting of forest crops is completed on the area of 1,729 hectares, afforestation - on 166 hectares, combined reforestation - on 34 hectares and laying of ravine-beam and shelter-bearing forest plantations - on an area of 2,045 hectares. In July and August, it is planned to hold events to promote the natural regeneration of forests on the area of 542 hectares.
